An emergency Board Up temporarily secures windows, doors, or other openings using plywood or similar materials to protect a house or building after damage. It is used to restore basic security and prevent further property damage following events like fire damage, water damage, break-ins, or a natural disaster.

Board Up services are needed when a property has exposed openings due to broken windows, broken doors, fire damage, vehicle impact damage, vandalism, hurricanes, floods, or crime scenes. Vacant buildings and commercial properties are also commonly boarded up to prevent trespassing from squatters and further damage.

Our pricing is based on the scope of work, materials required, and estimated time frame for completion. We provide a detailed estimate for each project before starting any work.

The Board Up process involves assessing the damaged areas, removing loose glass or debris, measuring openings, and securing them with properly fastened plywood. When possible, we use a sandwich method for our board ups. This entails using plywood on the outside of the building and 2×4 lumber placed on the inside side of the opening, bolted together to create a strong clamp around the wall. This method provides added stability, improves security, and reduces stress on window and door frames compared to surface-mounted plywood alone. The goal is to stabilize the property so repairs like glass replacement or other repairs can be made.

We offer emergency Board Up services 24/7, with on-site response often possible within 2-4 hours or sooner. Timing can vary based on location, weather conditions, and the extent of the damage. We try to arrive at your location within two hours.

Most standard window or door Board Ups take between 1 to 3 hours. Larger buildings or commercial properties with multiple openings may take longer.

Emergency Board Ups typically costs between $500-$1500. Please bare in mind that every job is unique and different. There are many factors that affect the costs of a Board Up. The size of the opening, the complexity of securing the opening, the number of openings that need to be boarded up, and so on.

We accept all major credit cards, Venmo, Zelle and Cash.

Property owners usually do not need to be present during the Board Up process, as long as we are able to gain access into the location.

Generally, Homeowners insurance often covers emergency Board Ups and glass replacement when the damage is caused by covered events like fire, break-ins, vandalism, or storms. Coverage depends on your policy and may require documentation or photos. We can help you file your claim by providing you with the proper documentation of the damage and our work.

No. We only provide Board Up Services. But we work with many glass companies and can refer you to a trusted glass company.

Yes we do. Board Up services are commonly provided for commercial properties, including storefronts, offices, and industrial buildings. These projects often involve larger openings, broken doors, and the need for temporary fencing.

Board Ups protect properties by preventing trespassing, reducing weather exposure, and limiting liability risks. They help maintain security and prevent damage until repairs are made.

In addition to Board Ups, we also provide crime scene clean up, glass clean up, temporary fencing, yard clean-up, trash removal, squatters & trespassers prevention, 24/7 property monitoring.

Board Ups installed before a protests or civil unrests, helps protect windows and doors from vandals kicking in or breaking windows with rocks, baseball bats or steel pipes.

We need the location and we need to know if it is a home, business or commercial location. A few photos and dimensions if possible.

The most important thing is your safety. If glass is scattered everywhere, or dangling precariously from an opening, please stay away from the damaged area. But if possible, secure the area the best you can.
